Meet Elizabeth 'Betty' Wicked, Modern Witch! The current resident of a haunted Virginia mountain home, she lives alone, except for occasional visiting spirits, practicing her magical arts. Raised in Hackensack New Jersey, she learned at a young age she was 'different' from other children. After a strange incident, her parents revealed she was part of an age-old sect that dates back to the Druids. Betty's parents were killed in a car accident, and Betty moved in with her Grandmother Grania in the wilds of the Shenandoah Valley, who took her in and taught her the Ways of the Witch.
Several years have passed since Betty's parents died, and knowing the circumstances were suspect, she feared the true killers were a Demonic Horde called The Council of The Dead. Betty has partnered with Frank Fletcher, a psychic who dreams of the near future! Together they attempt to investigate her parent's true killers and along the way, all Paranormal Activity.
Betty and Frank get caught up in trying to recover a stolen book! The hunt leads them on a chase to... of all places - New Haven, Massachusetts! There's more at work here than meets the eye! Could this be part of a bigger plot against Betty?
