Things begin go awry for President Sarki Shaw in Artic City during a speech to the dignitaries. Bessell breaks into their live feed and begins to opine regarding his imprisonment on Vesta. Thinking he has them captivated with his melodramatic grousing… The feed breaks and another, more evil, holo glows into focus over the heads of Shaw and the dignitaries.
The Aldebaran, the Follower, larger than life, has demands of his own. President Shaw, thinks to negotiate, but is given a show of such power that stunned fear is all that is left in the room as the Follower, makes his demand known, then breaks his feed. Chaos erupts as the room realizes what Bissell and the Aldebaran both showed in their transmissions! Merope enlightens Agent 'Rip' Jones regarding The Aldebaran, and the havoc they have caused across the galaxy. Is it too late for Rip to place any trust in this alien? What of pilot Mitchell Haze and Commander Ohm Vihaan?
